Whether it's keynotes, panel discussions, or interactive seminars, my talks are tailored to inspire action, foster understanding, and spark dialogue on the pressing issues of our time.

Below are examples of trainings and organizational change work that have been done with companies.

Youth Empowerment

This workshop provided a safe space for at-risk and high achieving youth to explore building confidence, self-esteem and resilience while promoting mental, physical and emotional well-being. Through activities and discussions that infuse mind, body and soul, students learned about the principles of the 4 agreements to make positive impact in their community. It encouraged students to embrace their individuality, challenge stereotypes and celebrate diversity. Students left feeling as if they had a new toolkit to create lasting change in their life.

Patient Voice and Engagement

This workshop focused on empowering healthcare professionals to engage patients and their families by establishing rapport and relationship building in order to foster more meaningful and productive collaborations. Training emphasized active listening, empathetic communication and the importance of recognizing diverse perspectives, creating an environment of trust. Attendees left understanding the importance of amplifying the patient’s voice and key strategies to do so.

Equity in Healthcare

This comprehensive training for healthcare professionals covers the history of racism in America, intersectionality and health disparities, culminating in discussions on fostering equitable care approaches. Trainees left with a greater ability to aprooach diverse populations and think outside the box for how they manage care equitably.

The Power of Storytelling

This training utilizes the power of storytelling to explore intersectionality, privilege and subjugation, encouraging patients to share personal narratives and engage in reflective discussions. Attendees left feeling inspired and reflective.

Building Rapport and Shared Decision Making

This training for patient facing staff focuses on cultivating rapport-building skills, shared decision-making, and equitable case management practices. Participants learned how to develop strong relationships with patients, promote inclusive communication, and foster a collaborative environment that values diverse perspectives. Attendees left with tangible tools to apply in everyday client interactions.

Culture Change

This DEI training delves into the ways inequity manifests in the workplace and examines how white supremacist culture permeates our society from adolescence to adulthood. Participants explored the subtle and overt forms of discrimination, prejudice and bias that can arise in professional settings.
